Vision

In support of LGMA NSW key commitment to the continuous improvement of local government and ensuring that our members are at the forefront of change and innovation, LGMA NSW is developing a range of Good Practice tools.

Our vision is to provide a forum for sharing good practice, case studies, information, templates, examples and reference material as well as legal compliance materials to support local government practitioners. In doing this the program aims to:

• build the capacity within local government by sharing expertise 
• identify, develop and disseminate good practice
• minimise risks 
• identify legal compliance requirements 
• act as a potential single source for all information required by councils
